Let’s take a moment to examine situations in our life that we normally run on auto-pilot.

Let’s bring these situations to our awareness and examine what is work and not working for us.

Take a moment to put pen to paper and reflect on the following questions. Notice if thoughts and words come straight to your mind without a filter. These are often the gems from the subconscious mind that are sometimes buried deep within us that we are often too afraid to examine. Write these gems down to explore further.

  • Where in your life have you given from the “half-empty” place that’s left you feeling depleted and flat afterward: Where you have said “yes” when you really wanted to say “no”? Eg. visiting the grumpy Aunt that you have never liked or respected.
  • Think about a situation in your life where you have been overflowing with love and you’ve given from a place of abundance. How did it make you feel afterward?

So often it is about how that person/situation makes you feel.

I now decide who I will spend my time with depending on how they make me feel. Do I feel energised and good about myself. Or do I come away feeling drained and like I am are not good enough.
